We're recruiting for an experienced Technical Project Manager to lead the delivery of critical DNS infrastructure lifecycle projects for a major UK telecommunications organisation.


This role requires a Project Manager with a strong understanding of enterprise DNS platforms and experience delivering complex network infrastructure projects within telecoms or ISP environments.


Key Responsibilities



  • Lead the upgrade and lifecycle management of Authoritative DNS , DNS Cache and DNS Security platforms.

  • Manage end-to-end project delivery, ensuring successful implementation of DNS infrastructure upgrades.

  • Coordinate engineering, security, operations, architecture and third-party suppliers.

  • Manage project governance, risks, dependencies, reporting and delivery milestones.

  • Support the development of DNS operational procedures, resilience and incident response capabilities.

  • Extensive experience delivering DNS infrastructure projects within telecommunications or ISP environments.

  • Strong understanding of Authoritative DNS , Recursive DNS , DNS Cache and DNS Security platforms.

  • Experience with enterprise DNS solutions such as Infoblox , BIND , BlueCat or equivalent.

  • Experience delivering DNS platform upgrades, migrations or lifecycle refresh programmes .

  • Good understanding of DNS architecture , DNS resolution, caching, delegation and zone management.

  • Knowledge of Core IP networking , IPv4/IPv6 , DHCP and IP Address Management (IPAM) .

  • Experience managing complex network infrastructure projects within large-scale telecommunications environments.

  • Understanding of DNSSEC , DDoS mitigation, DNS resilience and network monitoring.

  • Knowledge of telecoms security controls and experience supporting secure, resilient network infrastructure.

  • Agile delivery experience (SAFe, Scrum or similar).

  • Excellent stakeholder management, governance, vendor management and communication skills.
