We are looking for an experienced SATCOM NOC Support Engineer to join a leading telecommunications organisation supporting critical satellite communication services. This is an initial 6-month contract with the potential for extension, working onsite as part of a 24/7 shift rotation.

The Role

You'll be responsible for the monitoring, management and support of satellite communication platforms, providing first-line incident management and operational support across a range of business-critical services. Working within a 24/7 Network Operations Centre, you'll investigate faults, restore services, coordinate with internal teams and customers, and ensure service availability across UK and global satellite networks.

Key Responsibilities

  • 24/7 monitoring and incident management of SATCOM platforms and managed services
  • First-line fault diagnosis and resolution
  • Incident reporting and customer communications
  • Support disaster recovery and service restoration activities
  • Monitor network performance and escalate issues where required
  • Process customer service requests and bookings
  • Liaise with internal engineering teams and external partners
  • Support the operation of Earth Station equipment and satellite services
