The Programme Director will lead the strategy, governance, and execution of a critical, large-scale telecoms infrastructure and network migration programme.
This role ensures the seamless transition of network systems to modern infrastructure while maintaining service continuity, aligning senior stakeholders and recognising business value for the work carried out on behalf of the customer.
- Required Experience and Qualifications
- Minimum 10+ years leading large-scale programmes in the telecommunications sector.
- Proven track record delivering complex network migrations (e. g., Core, RAN, IP, Fiber, or Cloud/OSS/BSS).
- Strong history of managing tier-1 vendors, systems integrators, and engineering contractors.
- Technical & Professional Skills
- Deep understanding of telecoms infrastructure, mobile/fixed network.
- Expert knowledge of migration methodologies, dual-running strategies, and rollback planning.
- Master-level proficiency in program management frameworks (e. g., MSP, Prince2, Agile).
- Exceptional negotiation, conflict resolution, and executive-level communication skills.
