Seeking an experienced and innovative Data Scientist to join a global consultancy to successfully implement and run machine learning workloads on Azure. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of the data, its limitations and meaning, including the investigation of data validity. They will be working closely with local and remote teams and therefore need to be highly communicative.
Responsibilities include:
- Planning and creating a suitable working environment for data science workloads on Azure
- Running data experiments and training predictive models
- Managing, optimising, and deploying machine learning models into production
Applicants must have hands-on experience using Azure Machine Learning and Azure Databricks, as well as experience using advanced statistics and modelling techniques. Strong programming skills and proficiency in developing and deploying machine learning algorithms using Python or R, along with solid knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases are a must. Candidates must also be well organised and have the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously. Azure Data Scientist Associate Certification from Microsoft is a bonus.
