Job OverviewOur client, a growing Consultancy, is looking for a Java/React Developer to join their London based team. The work undertaken will be for a project in the Banking sector. The role is offered on a hybrid basis and candidates will be expected to be in the London office 2 days per week.
ResponsibilitiesApplicants will be responsible for leading the design, implementation and delivery for engineering efforts spanning 1-2 teams, working in Java and React – With both Front end and back end exposure. Contributing to all parts of the software\’s development including design, development, documentation and testing. Showing strong ownership of software and are deep in the maintenance characteristics, runtime properties and dependencies including hardware, operating system and build.
QualificationsApplicants must be hands‐on developers who write high quality, secure code that is modular, functional and testable, with evidence of working with object‐oriented development and design patterns. Experience developing in Java and React in an agile environment and exposure to Cloud technology. It would be advantageous if applicants have Banking and Finance experience with additional preferred qualifications: Redux , Spring Boot , Rabbit MQ , Mongo.
