Overview
Our Client, a consultancy, is seeking an experienced Senior Laboratory Desktop Engineer to support laboratory end-user computing systems within the Manufacturing Controlled Network (MCN) in a GxP-regulated environment. The role focuses on supporting laboratory PCs, instrument-connected systems, and IT infrastructure to ensure systems remain secure, compliant, and highly available while supporting scientists, lab users, and manufacturing operations.
Responsibilities
- Support laboratory end-user computing systems within the MCN in a GxP-regulated environment, including laboratory PCs, instrument-connected systems, and IT infrastructure.
- Ensure systems remain secure, compliant, and highly available while supporting scientists, lab users, and manufacturing operations.
Experience & Qualifications
- Must have 5+ years’ experience in a cGMP / GxP regulated environment.
- Experience supporting laboratory IT systems or instrument-connected workstations.
- Strong experience with Computer System Validation (CSV).
- Experience working in regulated manufacturing or laboratory environments.
Technical Skills
- Windows 10 enterprise environments and OS troubleshooting.
- Microsoft Office 2016–2019 and Microsoft 365 / Office 365.
- Microsoft Teams and collaboration platforms.
- Hardware support for PCs, laboratory workstations, and network printers.
- Knowledge of GAMP5, 21 CFR Part 11, and Data Integrity frameworks.
