Having secured initial seed funding, the business has established a strong scientific foundation and is now seeking a commercially driven CEO to unlock its full market potential and deliver a defined value creation and exit strategy within a 24-month horizon. This is an opportunity to lead from the front - shaping strategy, building capability, and driving the business towards a successful liquidity event.
The CEO will take full ownership of the business, with a clear mandate to commercialise the underlying science and scale the platform. Key responsibilities include:
- Define and execute a commercialisation and growth strategy
- Translate scientific innovation into a scalable, revenue-generating business model
- Lead fundraising activity (as required to support growth)
- Establish and develop strategic partnerships across pharma, diagnostics, and research organisations
- Build and lead a high-calibre leadership team
- Drive market positioning and go-to-market strategy
- Work closely with investors to prepare and execute an exit
This role requires a proven leader with experience operating at the intersection of science and commercial delivery.
Essential:
- Proven experience as a CEO or senior executive within an early-stage biotech / life sciences business
- Track record of commercialising scientific or technical IP
