Overview
We are seeking an experienced Data Architect / Data Modeller to join our team as part of a strategic Cost Rationalisation Programme. This role will drive data strategy, support enterprise-wide decision-making, and ensure our data architecture enables sustainable cost efficiency and business transformation.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable, flexible, and secure data architecture aligned with cost rationalisation goals
- Develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models to support business requirements
- Collaborate with business analysts, data engineers, and key stakeholders to define data requirements and transformation rules
- Analyse existing data systems and recommend improvements to reduce redundancy and improve data quality
- Ensure data governance, standards, and best practices are embedded into the architecture
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven experience as a Data Architect or Data Modeller, ideally within cost optimisation or transformation programmes
- Strong knowledge of data modelling tools
- Expertise in relational and non-relational database systems
- Experience in enterprise data architecture, data warehousing, and data integration
- Strong understanding of data governance, metadata, and data quality principles
