Savant are pleased to be supporting a key client in their search for a Procure to Pay (P2P) Finance Manager. This is a senior leadership position offering the opportunity to shape and drive the end‑to‑end P2P function across Europe, working closely with both local teams and an outsourced shared services organisation.
The Role: You will be a strategic and operational leader, accountable for P2P processes and payment operations. Your focus will be on driving process standardisation, efficiency, optimisation, supporting finance transformation initiatives and ensuring high standards across requisition‑to‑invoice, supplier payments, and cash operations. You will lead a pan‑European team and manage relationships with key stakeholders, shared services providers, and project teams, providing governance, control, and oversight for P2P processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead day‑to‑day P2P operations and ensure compliance with policies, controls, and SLAs.
- Manage outsourced shared services performance and drive process improvements.
- Own requisition‑to‑invoice (P2I) processes, supplier onboarding, discrepancy resolution, and data quality.
- Oversee end‑to‑end payment operations, cash disbursement, and risk mitigation.
- Drive process automation, digitisation, and reporting across P2P and payments.
- Act as a key P2P stakeholder for projects, system implementations, and organisational change.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high‑performing pan‑European team.
Experience & Skills Required:
- Significant experience as a P2P process owner in a large multinational organisation.
- Proven leadership in managing multi‑site or pan‑European teams.
- Experience with Shared Services or contact centre operations.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills at senior levels.
- Control‑focused with experience in SOX or audit frameworks.
- Experience delivering process improvement initiatives and transformation projects.
- Additional European languages would be an advantage.
