Our client is looking for a dedicated Lead Quality Assurance Engineer where you will establish QA standards, processes, and tooling across the entire technology estate, working closely with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to embed quality.
What you’ll do:
- Build and own QA processes, standards, and best practices from scratch
- Define balanced manual and automated testing strategies that scale
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to define clear, testable acceptance criteria
- Design and execute test plans across web, mobile, and retail systems
- Identify, track, and drive resolution of defects
- Establish and grow test automation, integrating with CI/CD pipelines
- Champion quality-first thinking across the SDLC and help shape the future QA function
What we’re looking for:
- Experience as an early or first QA hire in a tech organisation
- Strong manual testing background with a strategic approach to automation
- Hands-on experience with automation tools (e.g. Selenium, Cypress, Playwright)
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, API testing tools, and test management systems
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
