We are seeking an experienced Migration Lead to lead the migration workstream for a strategic telecom CMDB transformation programme migrating to BMC Helix CMDB. The role will define and execute the migration strategy, oversee migration tooling and cutover planning, and ensure the successful migration of CMDB data, integrations, and operational processes into the target environment.

Key Deliverables

  • End-to-end CMDB Migration Strategy and Roadmap.
  • Migration wave plan, approach and execution.
  • Migration tooling and automation strategy.
  • Cutover, rollback and contingency plans.
  • Migration testing and validation framework.
  • Environment readiness and deployment plans.
  • Operational readiness and transition to BAU.

Essential Experience

  • Proven track record leading enterprise-scale CMDB migration programmes.
  • Strong knowledge of Helix CMDB architecture, datasets, reconciliation and migration approaches.
  • Experience planning and executing complex data and platform migrations.
  • Experience managing integration cutovers and API-based architecture.
  • Telecom OSS transformation experience preferred.
  • Experience with BMC Helix Discovery, Helix ITSM and related migration tooling.
