We are seeking an experienced Data Lead to lead the data workstream within a strategic CMDB transformation programme migrating to BMC Helix CMDB. The role will be responsible for defining and executing the data strategy, governance framework, data quality approach, and source-to-target mappings required to establish a trusted CMDB data foundation.
Key Deliverables
- CMDB Data Strategy and Data Governance Framework.
- Current-state data assessment and data quality baseline.
- Source-to-target mapping specifications.
- Class model rationalisation and alignment to the BMC Common Data Model (CDM).
- Cleansing, Reconciliation, deduplication and golden dataset design.
- Data quality KPIs, controls and reporting framework.
- Data migration readiness assessment and remediation plan.
Essential Experience
- Proven experience leading data workstreams within CMDB transformation or migration programmes.
- Strong hands-on experience with BMC Helix CMDB, CDM, datasets and reconciliation processes.
- Experience designing enterprise data governance and quality frameworks.
- Experience working across complex integration landscapes.
- Telecom OSS industry experience preferred.
- Experience with BMC Helix Discovery, Helix ITSM and related tooling.
