Your responsibilities will include:
- Responsible for the development and communication of the daily activity plan using the planning system.
- Ensure the plan achieves the defined KPI parameters and respects health and safety of the team and environmental impact of the operation.
- Provide drivers with their route instruction and review the daily completion of the plan.
- Administer the IT systems as appropriate, ensuring that they are updated in a timely and accurate manner.
- Ensure the plan is updated to reflect changes such as task variation, driver unavailability, traffic restrictions, etc.
- Review planning effectiveness on a regular basis to identify opportunities for improvement in service, cost, and resource utilisation.
- Liaise with third party resource providers to ensure clarity of requirements and expectations (agency and sub-contract providers).
- Provide out of hours on call support (via a rota).
