This is a highly visible and trusted Executive Assistant role supporting the MD within a fast-paced, entrepreneurial and customer-centric retail business. Acting as the MD’s right hand and ambassador both internally and externally, the successful candidate will possess exceptional emotional intelligence, discretion, confidence and professionalism.

Whilst the role incorporates traditional EA support including complex diary management, meeting coordination and business administration, this is far more than a conventional diary management position. Personal support requirements are limited and largely centred around lifestyle coordination. The EA will proactively represent the MD within meetings, communicate confidently with senior stakeholders and take ownership of projects and initiatives rather than simply acting in an administrative capacity.

Key requirements include:

  • Minimum two years EA experience in a similar role.
  • Educated to Degree level.
  • Strong emotional intelligence and commercial awareness.
  • Creative, proactive and solutions-oriented.
  • Able to build rapport quickly whilst maintaining appropriate professional boundaries.
  • Absolute discretion and confidentiality.
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Assertive, energetic and capable of operating at pace.
  • Positive personality with a good sense of humour.
  • Strong follow-through and execution skills.
  • Comfortable representing the MD with clients and senior staff.
  • Tech savvy with the ability to utilise AI tools and create high-quality presentations and visual materials quickly and creatively.

The successful candidate will be bright, engaged and intellectually curious, enjoying involvement in brainstorming sessions and helping turn ideas into polished presentations and business materials at speed. A background within entertainment, events, retail, luxury or other highly customer-focused environments would be particularly relevant, especially within businesses recognised for exceptional service standards.

The culture is entrepreneurial, dynamic and fast moving. The successful EA must be adaptable, responsive and comfortable being available beyond traditional office hours where required although the role is based in London, it is hybrid. Salary £55,000 + excellent benefits package.
