Savanna Staff Solutions are looking for both Night and Day Class 1 Drivers to be assessed for our client in Slough.
Duty: Our client has multiple contracts so your Class 1 Driver duties could be any of the following:
- Supermarket store deliveries of caged frozen and chilled goods with use of a tail lift
- Refrigerated trunking work – depot to depot
- Night mail work between warehouses, time sensitive
- Shunting work between warehouses around 20 – 40 trailers per night with a Terburg unit
- Tramping work Monday to Friday, out all week
Qualifications: If you are interested in this Class 1 Driver role, please only apply if you have the following:
- Category CE Driving licence entitlement (Min 2 years with experience)
- Current DQC CPC card with knowledge of current road legislation
- Current Digi card with knowledge of manual entry
- Able to work long shifts; 12 hours is a usual night
Pay: £19 per hour weekdays, £20 per hour weekends.
