Overview
Part time HGV DRIVER required. If you are studying, training for a career, retired, or have off days you could drive, Savanna Staff Solutions may have shifts for you. You should have held your HGV licence for at least 12 months.
We provide a variety of HGV driver roles, including ongoing work and a large number of ad-hoc shifts.
Responsibilities
- Class 1 trunking days and nights
- Class 1 trailer drop and swap
- Class 1 overnight work for film or theatre on location in the UK and overseas when available
- Class 1 deliveries
- Class 1 shunting positions
- Class 2 days or nights
- Class 2 long haul (minimal deliveries)
- Class 2 delivery work (pallet network, clothes deliveries, drinks deliveries and multi-drop)
- Class 2 driving only work
- 7.5T multi-drop drivers
Qualifications
- Hold HGV licence for 12 months or more
- Minimum of 1 year on the HGV category you wish to drive and some on-the-road experience
Employment details & Benefits
- Rate typically between £16 and £33 per hour, depending on shift time, length, and weekend work
- Shifts can be arranged around you
