Savanna Staff Solutions are currently recruiting for multiple Class 2 drivers for our power and lighting client in Colnbrook, SL3 postcode. Our client is an industry leader in lighting equipment and generator hire to the film and TV production industry and are offering ongoing work throughout the year following an assessment.

Your (very easy) daily Class 2 Driver duties will consist of the following:

  • Pre and post journey vehicle inspection using a mobile app
  • Collection and delivery of lighting equipment to various sites around the UK (no load or offload)
  • Backing onto bays with the help of a banksman
  • Impeccable driving standards at all times

This Class 2 driver work is ideal for someone looking for a much slower pace of work.

Please only apply if you have UK settlement status already and have the following:

  • UK Driving Licence Category C (Class 2 HGV) with at least one year of on-the-road experience (insurance purposes)
  • Experience driving manual gearbox transmission
  • Current DQC CPC and DIGI Card with good knowledge of road legislation and driving hours
  • Can demonstrate manual tacho entry

Our client is asking for Class 2 drivers for assessment now; these take place every Tuesday around midday and last for 3.5 hours.
