Savanna Staff Solutions are looking for a Class 2 Driver for our flooring client in Chessington KT9 postcode. The right candidate will be offered ongoing work throughout the year.
Your daily Class 2 driver duties will be as follows:
- Pre and Post vehicle checks
- Delivery of flooring of different varieties and/or rolls of carpet and underlay, mainly via pallet truck and tail lift
- Liaison with client - excellent customer facing skills are a must
All Class 2 driver applicants must have the right to live and work in the UK before applying for work and must have all the following attributes:
- UK Cat C driving licence (Class 2 HGV) minimum 12 months and no more than 6 points for minor offences – No DD's, IN's or DR's
- Current DQC CPC Card and digi card with knowledge of manual entry
- Be physically able to carry large rolls of carpet or pull pallets of flooring
- Good English is essential to communicate over the phone
Payment for this Class 2 Driver role is at £19 per hour via Umbrella PAYE or LTD company only. This will be an initial ongoing position with the possibility of going permanent if you prefer.
