NSI UK are seeking a motivated Quantity Surveyor to manage project costs from inception to completion. The role involves budgeting, cost planning, procurement, and contract administration. Ideal candidates will have strong analytical skills and experience in construction cost management.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Commercial management of project delivery
- Management of change control of projects
- Contract interpretation to provide commercial advice and guidance to the project team
- Direct customer interface and relationship management on commercial matters
- Management of Customer payments and cash flow
- Subcontractor payments and change control
- Project reporting
- Production of monthly Cost Valuation Reporting and forecasts
- Management of cash forecasting
- Support project team with risk management
- Interpretation of programme impacts in relation to contractual obligations
Required Skills/Qualifications
- Education: Ideal but not mandatory – Formal Quantity Surveying or Engineering qualifications
- Experience: 2-4 years site experience
- Skills: Experience with NEC3/4, Fidic or bespoke client contracts
- Certifications: CSCS certification for site attendance (can be provided by Nijhuis)

Working Conditions
Monday to Friday 37.5 hrs a week. Travel to site and countrywide offices essential. Place of work to be determined on location of projects.
Working for us means
- The salary is up to £60,000 p/a depending on your professional experience.
- Holidays - 25 plus 8 bank holidays, with an option to buy or sell up to 5 days
- Probationary Period – 6 months.
- Pension – Can join immediately or auto enrolled after 3 months - Employee 5% and Employer 5% via salary sacrifice.
- Eligible to join Private Healthcare after successfully completing probation.
- Enrolled in Group Income Protection and Death in Service (4 x basic salary) upon commencement of employment.
- Notice – 1 week during probation, increasing to 1 month thereafter.
