Nijhuis Saur Industries are one of the UKs leading Water Hygiene/Treatment Companies. We provide cooling tower engineering and environmental solutions across the UK. We have an opportunity for an additional Water Hygiene Engineer to work on a variety of different client sites to assist in the monitoring and maintenance of domestic water systems.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Temperature monitoring in line with ACOP L8/HSG 274 Control Regimes
- Water sampling, in readiness for laboratory analysis
- Shower cleans & disinfections
- TMV servicing, calibration & replacements
- CWST Clean & disinfections
- CWST & Water Heater inspections & surveys
- Plumbing remedial works, dependent on experience & qualifications
Required Skills/Qualifications:
- A minimum of 2 years water hygiene experience
- Plumbing qualification (desirable)
- Full driving licence
- Be able to pass an enhanced DBS
- Ability to complete paperwork & make recommendations from Service Visits
Working for us means:
- The salary is up to £32,000 per year, depending on your professional experience
- Overtime - Monday to Saturday at 1.5, Sunday at 2
- Holidays - 25 days + 8 statutory days
- Company Van & Fuel Card
- Probationary Period – 6 months
- Pension – Can join immediately or auto enrolled after 3 months - Employee 5% and Employer 5% via salary sacrifice
- Eligible to join Private Healthcare after successfully completing probation
- Enrolled in Group Income and Death in Service (4 x basic salary) upon commencement of employment
- Notice – 1 week during probation, increasing to 1 month thereafter
