Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced ServiceNow Consultant to join our team and lead the design, development, and implementation of ServiceNow solutions for a global food and beverage manufacturing client. The ideal candidate will possess deep functional and technical knowledge of the ServiceNow platform, strong project management skills, and the ability to translate business requirements into scalable, maintainable solutions. This is a critical role supporting digital transformation and operational excellence initiatives across IT, HR, and supply chain functions in a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- ServiceNow Platform Implementation & Development: Lead end-to-end implementation and configuration of ServiceNow modules, including ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CMDB, and custom applications. Develop and maintain business rules, client scripts, UI policies, workflows, and catalogue items using best practices and ServiceNow scripting. Support integrations between ServiceNow and third-party systems (ERP, MES, procurement platforms, etc.).
- Consulting & Business Analysis: Work closely with stakeholders in IT, manufacturing, HR, and supply chain to gather requirements and define use cases. Conduct workshops and interviews to identify pain points and improvement opportunities. Translate complex business needs into functional and technical specifications for the ServiceNow platform.
- Project Delivery & Governance: Act as a lead consultant on large-scale projects, managing scope, timelines, and deliverables. Coordinate with project managers, architects, developers, and QA teams to ensure timely and high-quality delivery. Contribute to project documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and user training materials.
- Change Management & Support: Provide post-implementation support, including user training, documentation, and enhancements. Advise on ServiceNow best practices and platform governance to ensure sustainable, scalable solutions. Monitor system performance and recommend continuous improvements and upgrades.
- Manufacturing Industry Focus: Leverage understanding of manufacturing processes and challenges, including plant operations, asset management, and compliance. Customize ServiceNow solutions to support industry-specific requirements, such as plant maintenance workflows, production incident tracking, or inventory service requests.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow platform implementation and support.
- Proven experience in delivering ServiceNow solutions for large enterprise environments.
- Strong scripting skills (JavaScript, Glide, REST APIs).
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in food and beverage manufacturing environments.
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) and one or more additional certifications (e.g., ITSM, HRSD, Discovery, CMDB).
- Knowledge of manufacturing systems integration (e.g., ERP, MES, EHS platforms).
- Experience with ServiceNow Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) modules.
- Understanding of FDA regulations, food safety compliance (e.g., SQF, FSMA), and how they relate to digital systems.
