Summmary
Our company is hiring a Vehicle Technician to join our team the tasks that they are likely to be carrying out involve vehicle servicing, diagnostic and repairs. We work on a lot of VWG vehicles alone with a good customer base of other makes and models, the role would also include inspecting and preparing vehicles for our sales department.
For this position, we're looking for a self-motivated individual with experience working in a workshop environment. Our ideal candidate has a minium of 5 years mechanical experience and must have a full UK driving licence
Monday to Friday with the option of over time on a Saturday but not mandatory.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on a variety of vehicles
- Diagnose mechanical issues and provide effective solutions
- Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
- Maintain accurate records of services performed
- Collaborate with team members to enhance service efficiency
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations
- Communicate effectively with our service advisors
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician or similar role
- Strong mechanical knowledge and expertise xiskglj in vehicle maintenance
- Proficient in using hand tools and power tools
- Familiarity with diagnostic equipment
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Strong communication skills to interact with customers effectively
