CFO required to join the management team and shape the organization in the next growth phase, further building structures to support the scaling of the business and defining the strategic priorities for the years to come.
Our client is a leading Direct-to-Market accessible luxury brand. Over the past 6 years our client has developed to one of the most relevant contenders in the Direct-to-Consumer market in Europe. Through their accessible-luxury proposition, they have built a market presence in six European countries with over 50 Flagship-stores and 30 Partner-stores. Their products are designed in Switzerland and manufactured in Italy and Japan. They offer customers a seamless omni-channel experience when shopping through their online and offline channels.
Your Tasks as CFO:
- Member of the Leadership Group reporting to the CEO
- Execution of financial leadership across the organization and in corporation with the Board of Directors through clear and measurable metrics
- Leading strategic initiatives and ensure operational impact towards strategic & financial goals
- Overall responsibility for all finance-related topics within the Group across all entities (CH, DE, AT, DK, SE & UK all local GAAP)
- Shaping of the organization towards a data‑centric mindset and decision making to ensure impactful resource allocation on the basis of our strategic priorities
- Coordination and execution for the yearly budgeting, the intra‑year forecasting, cost controlling and the multi‑year business planning process
- Day‑to‑day management of the Controlling & Accounting teams in Munich and Zurich (11 FTE) and coordination of external service providers (tax advice, accounting and audit)
- Development, improvement and implementation of central finance processes in cooperation with local entities (automation & digitalization)
- Co‑Leading investor relations and fundraising efforts
Your Profile:
- You have 7-10 years of finance experience in an international organization (retail focus would be great)
- You have relevant experience in the role of Chief Financial Officer (or Head of Finance) and you are an inspiring motivator who identifies and develops potential in their teammates and the organization
- You are a leader with a financially savvy mindset who can drive impactful change across the organization
- You are an absolute team player with high social competence and strong intellectual rigor
- You are a hands‑on person, who likes to get operationally involved while keeping an eye on the strategic master plan at the same time, you have experience with handling accounting software (knowledge of Microsoft Navision beneficial) and you are skillful in Microsoft Excel modelling and analysis
- You possess broad expert knowledge in financial management as well as a relevant university degree
