Wa’ed Scholarship Program
Funded by the Ministry of Education in partnership with Saudi AZM Company, the Wa’ed Scholarship Program empowers promising Saudi talents to study in the UK for 5 to 10 months, supporting Vision 2030 competencies.
Program Objectives
- Academic and Professional Growth: Access prestigious academic and training institutions in London.
- Global Skill Enhancement: Prepare talents for local and global job markets.
- Strategic Talent Development: Support specializations critical to national development goals.
Program Tracks
- Information Technology: A 10‑month practical program combining Low Code technologies and Business Process Mining to develop business‑oriented skills. Students gain foundational business knowledge and hands‑on experience to excel in the job market.
- Cloud Engineering: A 5‑month program focusing on Low Code technologies and Cloud Engineering, covering networking basics, software deployment, and Linux systems, with practical training in cloud solutions.
- Systems Architect: A 5‑month program preparing students for Senior Systems Architect Certification, with training in Low Code, Business Process Mining, software engineering, and system architecture principles.
- Predictive Diagnostic Cloud: A 5‑month program specializing in software testing and diagnostics using Low Code platforms. Students gain expertise in predictive diagnostics, software diagnostics, and Business Process Mining through practical training.

Job Requirements
- Nationality: Applicants must be Saudi nationals.
- Conduct: Must have good conduct and behavior.
- Field of Study: Must align with the specified track.
- Residency: Full‑time study with residency in the country of the scholarship.
- Selection Policies: Must meet selection policies and criteria set by Saudi AZM Company.
- Ongoing Scholarships: Applicants currently on an active scholarship are not eligible but can reapply after completion.
- Academic Qualifications:
- Bachelor\’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Technology.
- Minimum GPA of 3.00/4.00 or 4.00/5.00.
- English Proficiency:
- Minimum TOEFL PBT: 520.
- Minimum IELTS: 5.5.
- Minimum TOEFL IBT: 60.
