An established IT consulting firm specialising in enterprise transformation is scaling fast under private equity backing.
UK-headquartered in the North of England and recent expansion into the US and Nordics, they guide large organisations through strategic software upgrades and business model changes.
Having launched two new AI tools last year, built on their own proprietary software, they're transforming their market and set for huge revenue growth.
They're now looking to hire a Global Sales Director to own the revenue function, reporting directly to the board.
What makes this opportunity so compelling is the strength of the foundation: an established organisation with great brand recognition and a strong reputation in its space.
They have a total addressable market of 35,000 customers who need their new AI tools, with first-mover advantage and no one else in their space currently doing it.
The scope for global development is huge, with the US a major focus, a market 10x the size of the UK and Europe combined.
What You'll Get
A rare chance to architect a world-class sales operation from a strong foundation.
Base salary £125k plus £125k uncapped OTE, share options, and an excellent benefits package.
You'll report directly to the CEO and executive team, with the development potential to move into a C-suite role in time.
This role is hybrid, with 2–3 days a week at their Warrington HQ, flexing over time to potentially suit someone based further afield if they're the right profile.
What You'll Do
Own the global sales operation end-to-end: pipeline, forecasting, and team leadership across the UK, US, and Nordics.
Reporting to the CEO, you'll work shoulder-to-shoulder with a lean sales team, with a mandate to create structure, build repeatable process, and unlock the pipeline.
This is a huge opportunity to bring your experience of building enterprise-focused MEDDPIC(C)-led sales strategies into a company that already has a strong brand name and reputation.
You'll build and lead the team that takes the company to its next stage of growth, backed by a structure built for success and a group of highly motivated, talented sales reps.
What You'll Need
You've built and run sales teams, your day job is sales leadership, not closing deals.
You've implemented GTM strategy, channel architecture, pipeline rigour, forecasting, and accountability metrics at scale.
You're a proven operator who challenges process, thinks critically, and is equally comfortable assessing talent and holding people accountable.
A background in software/Saa S combined with services or consulting is required, along with proven experience building and leading teams across the UK, Europe, and the US.
Ideally, you'll bring a mix of experience: time within a corporate software company, where you've seen real operational rigour, and time in an earlier-stage Saa S business, where you've grown revenue from single-digit millions to £20m+.
