We’re working with a high-growth SaaS company entering a major new phase of expansion, launching into the Higher Education and University sector. They’re hiring a New Markets Senior Account Executive, someone who knows how to open doors in academic environments and build new markets from the ground up.
This isn’t a role where you inherit a territory or a playbook. You’ll be responsible for finding the opportunity, shaping the narrative, and building pipeline from scratch.
Paying £60 – 80k base with another £40k OTE in year 1 which is uncapped plus equity and excellent benefits too. This role is hybrid with 3 days a week in their Central London offices.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead commercial expansion into the university and education sector
- Build and execute outbound prospecting campaigns to generate new opportunities
- Shape early positioning, messaging and value propositions for a new vertical
- Run full early-stage sales cycles from discovery to validation and internal handover
- Work closely with product and leadership to feedback market insights
- Develop repeatable GTM frameworks that can scale
What You’ll Bring
- Experience selling into universities, higher education, or within EdTech
- Proven track record of building new markets or verticals without an established playbook, focused on more complex, multistakeholder/multi-threading experience
- Comfortable with outbound–writing sequences, cold outreach, and opening new conversations
- Strong communicator able to engage senior academic or operational stakeholders
- Commercially curious, data-aware, and comfortable iterating quickly to find what works
