This is a rare chance to own marketing end-to-end for a growing sports technology company with a mission rooted in community. They build tools used by grassroots clubs across the UK & Ireland and now they need someone who genuinely lives and breathes local sport to take the brand to every pitch, clubhouse and touchline.

If you’ve ever stood in the rain on a Sunday morning, organised a fixture, or fought for pitch time you’ll get it. This role isn’t about polished campaigns from behind a screen. It’s about being there at events, club nights, league meetings, representing the platform in person, not just online.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Field Marketing & Community Presence: Travel to clubs, tournaments and grassroots events. Build relationships, fly the flag, become known in the amateur sports community.
  • Content & Storytelling: Create content that speaks to real club volunteers and athletes — social, video, newsletters, campaign assets.
  • Social Media & Brand Growth: Own and grow social channels with authentic, community-led campaigns — not agency fluff.
  • Local Partnerships & Sponsorship: Identify leagues, influencers and local sports bodies to collaborate with and expand brand reach.
  • Campaign Execution: Plan and run multi-channel campaigns to drive awareness, adoption and trust across the sports ecosystem.
  • Performance & Insight: Track what works, what doesn’t, and continuously refine marketing strategy based on data and real-world feedback.

What You’ll Bring

  • 3–5 years in marketing, ideally in sports, tech or community-driven environments
  • A genuine, first-hand connection to grassroots or club sport
  • Confident travelling, meeting people, and championing a mission face-to-face
  • Self-starter mentality, you’ll be the marketing team, not a cog in one
  • Data-aware, creative, and comfortable rolling sleeves up

Why This Role Matters

Grassroots sport is built on people who care. This company is giving clubs the tools they deserve and you’ll be the one putting that message directly into their hands. You won’t inherit a machine. You’ll build the engine.
