A growing international events and production business is looking for a Project Accountant to join its finance team and play a key role in the successful delivery of high‑profile client projects. Working closely with production teams, you will manage project finances from start to finish, ensuring budgets, costs, invoicing and reporting are accurate, timely and commercially focused. This is a varied role offering exposure across project finance, operational finance and business improvement initiatives.
The Role
- Partner with production teams to manage project budgets, reconciliations and profitability reporting, track project costs and ensure supplier invoices are processed accurately and on time.
- Manage client invoicing, revenue recognition and receivables.
- Support project cash‑flow forecasting and working capital management.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes.
- Assist with intercompany accounting, treasury activities and foreign currency transactions.
- Support month‑end reporting, accruals, prepayments and financial controls.
- Help improve finance processes and support ongoing systems development projects.
About You
- Experience in a Project Accountant, Management Accountant or similar finance role.
- Strong understanding of project accounting, budgeting and reconciliations.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Comfortable working with operational and non‑finance stakeholders.
- Able to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- Proactive, adaptable and keen to improve processes.
- Experience within events, media, production, creative or project‑based businesses would be an advantage.
