Β£60,000 to Β£70,000 | Hybrid or Remote
I am working with one of the most iconic and instantly recognisable names in interactive entertainment and gaming, home to some of the biggest brands in the industry, on a really interesting hire. They are looking for someone with genuine royalties or licensing finance experience who is ready to own the process end to end, rather than just report the numbers up.
The role covers:
- Owning the end-to-end preparation, review and submission of royalty statements to licensors, developers and publishers
- Receiving, validating and invoicing royalty statements and payments coming in from licensees
- Interpreting contract terms including revenue shares, deductions and recoupment positions, and translating them into accurate financial calculations
- Working closely with accounting, legal and business development teams to resolve open items
- Overseeing royalty processes across multiple studios globally, and helping standardise how it's done across the group
You will likely have:
- Royalties, licensing finance, or revenue-share reporting experience in media, entertainment, or games, essential
- Comfortable reading and interpreting commercial contracts, not just processing what's handed to you
- Experience owning a recurring reporting or payment cycle where accuracy and deadlines genuinely matter
- A naturally audit-minded approach, someone who won't let a number that looks wrong go unchecked
The package includes flexible hybrid or fully remote working, enhanced benefits and real scope to shape a growing global function. But honestly the bigger draw here is the brand itself and the level of ownership on offer, this isn't a back office reporting role.
Location: Newcastle, but genuinely open to hybrid or fully remote.
