This is one of those roles that does not come around very often. A specialist advisory firm in the music rights space is looking for a senior transaction professional to take full ownership of their Transaction Services practice. The business sits at the centre of the music catalogue market, working with rights owners, investment funds, lenders and artist estates on acquisitions, disposals and financing. They have built a strong reputation and a growing client base, and now need the right person to lead it forward. If you know music royalties, understand how catalogues are valued and traded, and have the commercial drive to win and lead complex mandates, this could be a career-defining move.
The role
- Lead all financial due diligence on music catalogue transactions
- Win new mandates and grow the client base
- Own the firm's valuation methodology and sign off on all client deliverables
- Build and develop a high-performing team
- Act as the senior client contact across key deals
What we are looking for
- 8 or more years in transaction services, corporate finance, valuations or a similar deal environment
- Strong financial modelling and due diligence experience
- A track record of winning work and managing senior client relationships
- Experience leading and growing a team
- Knowledge of music royalties, IP valuation or catalogue transactions a strong advantage
- An existing network across labels, publishers or investors would be a real bonus
The business is data-led, fast-moving and genuinely exciting to be part of. This is a chance to shape a practice, not just run one.
