A growing, entrepreneurial group is looking for a commercially minded Finance Director to join the leadership team and help drive the next phase of growth. This is a broad, hands-on role with genuine influence across the business. Reporting to the CEO and working closely with senior stakeholders, you’ll lead the finance function while helping shape strategy, improve processes, and support key commercial decisions.
The Role
- Lead and develop the finance team
- Own budgeting, forecasting and cashflow management
- Deliver timely and insightful management information
- Drive financial controls, governance and process improvements
- Support commercial decision-making with robust analysis and reporting
- Manage banking, funding and external stakeholder relationships
- Lead year-end, audit, tax and statutory reporting activities
- Partner with operational leaders to improve performance and profitability
- Play a key role in strategic projects, systems and business transformation initiatives
About You
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, ACMA or equivalent)
- Previous experience as a Finance Director, Head of Finance or Financial Controller ready to step up
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to influence non-finance stakeholders
- Comfortable operating in a growing, entrepreneurial environment
- Hands-on approach with a willingness to roll up your sleeves when needed
- Experience improving systems, controls and reporting processes
- Strong leadership and team development skills
