We are partnering with one of the most well known and respected names in the music industry to find an experienced Finance Manager to join them on an initial 6-month contract, with the view to extend. This is a newly created role at a genuinely exciting time for the business. With significant change happening at group level, this is a real opportunity to step in, make an impact and take ownership of a busy finance function alongside some brilliant people.
Stepping into a pivotal position, you will take ownership of the day-to-day operational finance function, with the view to freeing up the current Finance Manager to move into a more strategic advisory capacity. Working closely with senior stakeholders and leading a small team of Accounts Assistants, you will play a key part in keeping the finance function running smoothly during an exciting period of change.
Key Responsibilities:- Balance sheet reconciliations and month end close
- Debtors and creditors management
- P&L and balance sheet reporting to senior leadership
- Managing and developing a team of three Accounts Assistants
- Supporting the business through a period of transition and documenting key processes
- Must be fully qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA or equivalent)
- Minimum 7 years' finance experience within music, media or entertainment
- Proven team management experience
- EMEA experience required
- Exposure to M&A activity advantageous
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, changing environment
