This is a rare opportunity to join one of the most established names in music and entertainment business management at a genuinely exciting moment in their growth. Following a period of restructuring, they are looking for an experienced Business Manager to come in at a senior level, take ownership of a portfolio of high profile clients and lead a small team of ambitious accountants. You will work closely with the Director and Associate Director and play a key role in shaping the next chapter of the business.
What you will be doing:
- Managing your own portfolio of clients and acting as their trusted day to day advisor
- Leading on accounts preparation, tax compliance and financial oversight
- Managing, mentoring and developing two senior team members
- Reviewing VAT returns and overseeing billing
- Getting involved in client meetings and solving complex queries
- Contributing to the wider team and operational strategy
What they are looking for:
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or equivalent)
- Currently operating at Business Manager or Senior Accountant level in practice
- 5 years or more post qualified experience
- Confident managing client relationships end to end
- Experience leading or mentoring junior team members
Experience working with music, entertainment or media clients is a strong advantage but not essential. Some of the best people in this team have come from outside the sector and brought their skills with them. The culture is collaborative and down to earth, with real autonomy, a structured progression framework and strong financial upside through bonus and profit share.
