We’re partnering with a leading music business management firm to hire a detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join their Touring team. This role offers hands-on exposure to international touring, working closely with artist teams and supporting some of the most successful artists in the industry. If you already have experience in touring or music industry accounting, this is a rare opportunity to deepen your specialist knowledge and build a long-term career in music finance.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Managing day-to-day bookkeeping across touring clients using Sage Line 50 and Xero
- Posting and reconciling bank transactions, tour floats and credit cards
- Raising and processing sales and purchase invoices; monitoring debtors and creditors
- Reviewing and reconciling agency statements
- Assisting with VAT returns in line with Making Tax Digital
- Monitoring cashflow and supporting tour financial reporting
- Liaising with artist management, tour managers, booking agents, insurers, suppliers and record labels
- Supporting tour contracts, invoicing, tour support requests, cancellation insurance and back-end reporting
What We’re Looking For
- 1–2+ years’ experience within accounting practice
- Touring or music industry accounting experience is essential
- Confident using Sage and/or Xero
- Highly organised, detail-driven and able to prioritise in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communicator, comfortable working directly with artist teams
- A genuine interest in the music industry
