We’re looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Assistant Accountant with 2+ years’ accounting experience and proven touring experience to join our client’s Touring team. We’re looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Assistant Accountant with 2+ years’ accounting experience and proven touring experience to join our client’s Touring team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within the music industry, supporting some of the world’s most successful artists with touring and general accounts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Day-to-day bookkeeping in Sage/Xero (bank, sales/purchase invoices, credit cards, agency statements)
- Assist with VAT returns in line with Making Tax Digital requirements
- Liaise with artist management, tour managers, booking agents, insurers, and suppliers
- Process payments, monitor cash flow, and support financial reporting
- Assist with contracts, invoices, and back-end reporting for tours and live events
Requirements:
- 2+ years’ accounting practice experience
- Touring accounting experience is essential
- Proficient in Sage/Xero
- Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise
- Excellent communicator, confident liaising with artists, managers, and stakeholders
