We are working with a leading live music and music management company. If you are looking to build a career in finance, work with an impressive client base and be genuinely supported along the way, this could be the role for you.
What you'll be doing:
- Maintaining books and records on Sage Line 50 and Xero for limited companies, LLPs and sole traders
- Cash book management and bank reconciliations
- Raising and posting sales invoices and reviewing outstanding debtors
- Processing purchase invoices, reconciling supplier statements and managing creditors
- Posting and reconciling credit card transactions
- Preparing VAT returns in line with Making Tax Digital requirements
- Managing client cashflow and setting up approved bank payments
- Liaising with banks, suppliers, clients and colleagues as needed
- Supporting the wider team with ad hoc projects
What they're looking for:
- 1 to 2 years of experience within a media, music or entertainment practice. This is a must.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- Well organised with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
- A confident communicator, comfortable with clients and colleagues alike
- Able to use their own initiative and work well in a team
- A genuine interest in the music industry is a real plus.
