A well-established engineering business is seeking a Service Engineer to join its specialist fan maintenance division. This is a field-based role covering customer sites across the UK, with occasional overnight stays. The ideal candidate will have some experience working with industrial fans or rotating machinery and be confident carrying out mechanical servicing, fault diagnosis, and repairs.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on industrial fans and associated equipment
- Perform mechanical inspections, fault finding, and component replacement
- Travel to customer sites across the UK, with some overnight stays as required
- Complete service reports and communicate findings clearly to customers and internal teams
- Ensure all work is carried out safely and in line with company procedures
