A forward-thinking global business undergoing Oliver Wight-led transformation is seeking a Demand Planning Manager to join its growing team. This is a high-impact role, central to the success of a major global initiative to reshape forecasting, manufacturing planning, and customer service delivery. Rather than simply crunching historic numbers, this role partners directly with programme managers to forecast customer needs over the next three months and beyond helping shape production strategy and supply chain readiness in real-time.
What You’ll Do:
- Own the demand planning process, ensuring accurate forecasting across key customer accounts
- Drive monthly SOIP demand reviews and implement improvements based on variance/root cause analysis
- Work hand-in-hand with Sales, Product Management, Marketing, and Operations
- Support new product introductions and project forecasting from day one
- Lead the coordination of data, reports, KPIs, and forecasting tools (Excel + Oracle preferred)
- Identify risk in supply/demand and implement solutions before issues arise
- Build performance metrics and track forecasting accuracy, bias, and delivery results
- Play a key role in the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process as it evolves
