You’ll be representing a highly respected range of automation components and modular systems used by machine-builders, OEMs, and systems integrators across your region. This is a role for someone who loves being out in front of customers, building relationships, and driving growth through both existing accounts and new opportunities.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Spending four days a week on the road, visiting customers, prospects, and lapsed accounts
- Growing revenue within an established customer base through upselling, cross-selling, and deepening technical engagement
- Identifying and winning new business with machine-builders, integrators, and industrial OEMs
- Re-activating lapsed or low-activity accounts and rebuilding long-term relationships
- Showcasing high-quality automation products and modular solutions that genuinely solve customer problems
- Understanding customer applications and tailoring solutions that add value
- Managing your territory with full ownership: planning visits, tracking activity, and driving results
What You’ll Bring
- Experience in technical field sales – ideally electrical, mechanical, automation, controls, sensors, connectors, or related components
- A track record of developing accounts and winning new business
- Strong communication skills and the confidence to engage engineers, buyers, and decision-makers
Whilst a technical aptitude is a requirement, full training will be provided on the specifics of the products. The role will cover the South Coast and some of South Wales, the ideal location is to the West of the region.
