Role Description

The Head Chef Mayfair role is a full-time, on-site position based in the London. The Head Chef will lead the kitchen team, oversee menu development, and ensure consistent delivery of high-quality dishes that align with the venue’s concept. Daily responsibilities include managing food preparation, supervising service, controlling stock and food costs, and maintaining strict hygiene and safety standards. The role also involves training and mentoring kitchen staff, coordinating with front-of-house teams, and working closely with management to support guest satisfaction and overall restaurant performance.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef in high-end or fine dining restaurants.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage, motivate, and develop a diverse kitchen team.
  • Expertise in menu planning, food presentation, and maintaining consistent culinary standards.
  • Solid understanding of food safety, hygiene regulations, and kitchen health and safety practices in the United Kingdom.
