Saturn is a Series A-backed fintech transforming how financial advice is delivered.
We operate in one of the world’s largest industries. Wealth and asset managers oversee more than $100 trillion and generate over $1 trillion in annual revenue, yet much of the infrastructure used to manage that wealth remains fragmented, manual and institution-specific.
Saturn is starting with the productivity and compliance systems used by financial advisers.
Our story
Saturn joined Y Combinator in 2024 and became one of the fastest-growing B2B companies in its batch.
We grew organically to a meaningful share of the UK financial advice market before acquiring the legacy leader, one of the industry’s most established compliance rule engine and suitability businesses, in 2025.
That acquisition combined AI-native product engineering with more than two decades of regulatory expertise, proprietary compliance logic and deep industry distribution.
Within two years of launch, Saturn became the leading provider of AI transformation to UK financial advice firms, supporting more than 9000 regulated advice professionals who manage about $500bn in Assets
We have proved distribution, trust and demand. The most important infrastructure is still ahead of us.
Your role
As Staff Product Manager, you will own one of Saturn's products in its entirety: strategy, roadmap, quality bar, and outcomes.
Saturn is a Series A, Y Combinator-backed company building the AI-native operating system for financial advice. Our platform combines a living data model of the client, AI agents that complete complex advice and operational workflows, and compliance logic embedded directly into how work is produced. The initial wedge is adviser productivity. The larger opportunity is rebuilding the operating model of the advice firm around connected data, intelligent workflows and continuous regulatory control.
This is a IC role with founder-level scope. You work directly with the CEO, engineers, partnerships, and associate product managers. You define the what and why with enough clarity that one engineer ships the whole feature. No handoff chain, no ambiguity, no hand-waving. Your work will determine whether Saturn becomes the intelligence layer through which advice is created, governed and delivered.
The team
You will work in a cross-functional squad alongside Product Engineers who own features end-to-end across frontend, backend, and AI, plus Design and Saturn’s domain experts: chartered compliance officers and paraplanners. Product management at Saturn moves fast, and we protect that pace deliberately. The best PMs do their best work when they can see the impact of what they ship.
What You'll Work On
- Owning the product strategy and a rolling 3-6 month roadmap for AI agents that automate advice workflows: meeting capture, research, suitability reports, annual reviews, compliance checks and ongoing client servicing
- Translating agentic and LLM capabilities into experiences advisers trust with regulated work, where evidence and auditability sit behind every material output
- Running independent discovery with advisers and paraplanners, distinguishing signal from noise, and turning adviser pain into product direction
- Writing specs with zero ambiguity, clear enough for one engineer to ship the whole feature
- Prioritising ruthlessly across features, bugs, and quality, and owning your roadmap
- Balancing enterprise partner demands with product coherence, and sequencing releases against the go-to-market calendar
- Treating go-to-market as part of the build. You ship features that land, not features that launch
- Coaching and multiplying the PMs around you, and building the frameworks the product function adopts as it grows
What We're Looking For
- Product management experience at fast-paced, product-led B2B SaaS companies, including ownership of a product that shipped and won in market
- Experience shipping products where AI is the core, not a bolt-on. You understand the difference between deterministic and probabilistic systems, and what it takes to put agentic workflows in front of users in a regulated environment
- Discovery discipline. You have run research that changed what got built
- Sharp prioritisation. You can explain why you said no, not just what you said yes to
- Strong written communication. Your decision docs and PRDs reduce meetings rather than create them
- Technical fluency. You can discuss AI architecture trade-offs, know why prompts break, and challenge engineering assumptions
- Commercial instinct. You connect product decisions to retention, expansion, and the revenue model
- Self-sufficiency with data. You define your own metrics and design your own experiments
- Comfort owning decisions with incomplete information and a real deadline
Preferred
- Fintech or regulated industry experience
- Experience deploying AI into enterprise or compliance-sensitive environments
- Understanding of adviser workflows and compliance context
