Key Responsibilities

  • Working on a variety of client projects across a range of industries.
  • Regularly analyse website performance using tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEMRush.
  • Produce reports on SEO statistics, interpreting data to inform and enhance SEO strategies.
  • Assist in the implementation of SEO strategies to improve website rankings and visibility.
  • Conduct keyword research to identify opportunities for content optimisation.
  • Perform on-page and off-page SEO tasks, including meta tag creation, link sourcing & building, and content optimisation.
  • Conduct technical audits and resolve identified issues to improve website and search performance, or liaise with the development team as needed.
  • Backlink management.
  • Assist with the preparation of new client audits.
  • Stay up to date with the latest SEO trends and search engine algorithm updates.

Required

  • 1+ years experience of working in an SEO role – e.g. SEO agency or freelance work.
  • Must be able to provide examples of previous work, such as optimised web pages, SEO reports, or keyword research documentation.
  • Experience and general understanding of SEO and PPC.
  • Familiarity with modern search marketing.
  • Knowledge of Google products e.g. Analytics, Tag Manager, Search Console, Ads.
  • A strong interest in SEO and a willingness to learn are essential.
  • A proactive attitude and a willingness to collaborate with different departments to achieve SEO goals.

Beneficial (but not essential)

  • A working knowledge of different website platforms, e.g. WordPress, Magento, Shopify, Wix.
  • A working knowledge of SEMRush.
  • Experience of creating and managing Google Ads campaigns (Search, Display, Shopping).
  • Online Courses and Certifications: Completing SEO courses from platforms like Coursera or Udemy, and obtaining certifications in Google Analytics, Semrush, and Google Ads.
  • Experience of setting up Google Tag Manager tracking.
