We are now seeking a motivated Warehouse Manager to join our dynamic team to support our continued growth.

As a Warehouse Manager, you'll lead our warehouse operations and ensure the efficient receipt, storage, inventory management, and distribution of goods.

As a critical link in our supply chain, you will be responsible for driving operational excellence, leading and developing warehouse staff, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring full compliance with health and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the day-to-day running of warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, inventory management, order fulfilment, and dispatch.
  • Lead, motivate, train, and manage warehouse staff to maintain high levels of productivity, engagement, and safety.
  • Monitor stock levels, manage inventory accuracy, conduct regular audits, and investigate discrepancies.
  • Develop and implement warehouse procedures and best practices to improve operational efficiency and service levels.
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Oversee the maintenance and safe operation of warehouse equipment and ensure the facility remains clean, organised, and operational.
  • Set, monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), manage operational budgets, and identify cost‑saving opportunities.
  • Investigate and resolve operational issues, shipping errors, and inventory‑related concerns.
  • Prepare regular operational and performance reports for management.

Skills and Attributes

  • Familiarity with inventory management systems, data entry, and other software applications.
  • Strong people management skills with the ability to motivate a diverse team and delegate tasks effectively.
  • Ability tomaintain a clean and organised work area, manage inventory, and prioritise tasks.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards.
  • Data analysis and reporting.
  • Proficiency in operating equipment, such as forklifts, pump trucks, and barcode scanners.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
  • Proven experience in warehouse operations and team leadership.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory management systems and warehouse management software (WMS).
  • Understanding of logistics, shipping, and receiving procedures.
  • Excellent organisational, problem-solving, decision making and communication skills.
  • Strong IT experience, with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
