Key Responsibilities About the Role This is a key role within SATS Group, responsible for the successful execution of the company’s Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) strategies across all regions and Business Units. This role involves managing ESG reporting, facilitating collaboration between the ESG subject matter experts and the Sustainability Business Partners and Sustainability Champions across the organization. This role is critical to ensuring that the company meets its ambitious ESG targets at both local and regional levels. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of ESG principles and corporate ESG frameworks, strong project management and communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively across diverse teams demonstrating empathetic leadership. Key Responsibilities ESG Program Management & Internal Stakeholder Engagement Manage the implementation of ESG initiatives in alignment with the company’s global ESG strategy: Act as the primary liaison between ESG subject matter experts and Sustainability Business Partners and Sustainability Champions, translating global guidelines into local action plans and ensuring effective communication and collaboration. Coordinate with Sustainability Business Partners and Sustainability Champions to tailor ESG programs to local contexts while maintaining alignment with group-level objectives. Oversee the development and execution of ESG action plans across various regions, ensuring timely delivery of targets. Facilitate knowledge sharing and best practices across regions to enhance the company’s overall ESG performance. Provide insights and recommendations based on ESG performance data to senior leadership and other stakeholders. ESG Reporting & External Stakeholder Engagement Manage the preparation and submission of accurate and timely ESG reports in accordance with international standards, industry best practices, regulatory requirements and customers’ expectations: Collaborate with internal teams to gather, analyse, and present ESG data, ensuring it reflects the company’s performance against its sustainability goals. Produce the annual Sustainability Report to GRI and SGX standards, in collaboration with Corporate Communication, Corporate Secretary, Legal and Human Capital teams. Disseminate Sustainability Report content in multiple supports (website, commercial slide deck, etc) with guidelines for self-service use. Support reporting requirements from Temasek and other key external stakeholders. Engage with external stakeholders, including investors, regulators, and non-governmental organizations (NGOs), to communicate the company’s ESG efforts and progress. Develop the ESG training materials for external-facing teams (Sales and Procurement). Ensure understanding and readiness to comply with ISSB-SGX-CSRD-US regulations, working with regional business partners, Legal, Corporate Secretary & Finance Monitor global ESG trends, emerging regulations, and best practices to ensure the company remains at the forefront of sustainability. Key Requirements Key Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Sustainability, Business, or a related field; a Master’s degree or MBA is preferred. At least 10 years of experience in project management, corporate transformation, change management, or a related field, with a minimum of 3 years in an ESG-related role. Deep understanding of ESG principles, reporting frameworks (e.g., GRI, ISSB, TCFD), and regulatory requirements. Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously. Results-orientation: strong focus on achieving measurable outcomes and delivering against ESG targets Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels, across cultures. Analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights. Collaborative leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively across functions and geographies fostering a cooperative and harmonious work environment.
