Deliver hands‑on construction skills training (carpentry/plumbing/electrics) to students in schools using a fully equipped mobile training van. Manage and maintain the mobile classroom and equipment. Collaborate with schools to ensure a high‑quality learning experience.
Key Requirements
- Proven experience in the construction industry (e.g. carpentry, bricklaying, plumbing, electrics or general construction).
- A passion for teaching, mentoring, or working with young people.
- Ability to plan, review and deliver quality practical and theory based sessions giving comprehensive instructions to learners.
- Completion of portfolio paperwork in line with SATRO and BTEC/AQA policies and standards assessing work against these standards and giving appropriate verbal and written feedback to students.
- Full, clean UK driving license (essential).
- Ability to work independently and manage your time effectively.
- Experience in a teaching, coaching, or mentoring role is desirable but not essential – training will be provided.
- Enhanced DBS check is required for all candidates.
