•Employment Type:Part-time – approx. one day per week

About Us
Satraka is a new start-up offering revolutionary ground antenna technology for both 4G/5G and
LEO (Low Earth Orbit) connectivity. After receiving various awards and grant funding based
on our revolutionary IP, we’re passionate about communicating the game-changing technology
to the wider connectivity market inside the UK and beyond and are looking for a creative and
strategic Social Media Manager to take our online presence to the next level.
The Role
As our Social Media Manager, you’ll be responsible for creating, curating, and managing
content across all our social channels. You’ll shape our brand voice, engage with our
community, and track performance to continually improve results, especially in terms of search
engine optimisation and generating more company followers.
Key Responsibilities
•Develop and implement a social media strategy aligned with our brand and goals.
•Create engaging, high-quality content (posts, reels, stories, videos, graphics)
•Manage daily posting across platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, X/Twitter etc.)
•Engage with followers, respond to comments/messages, and build community
relationships
•Collaborate with marketing, and sales teams to align campaigns
•Monitor trends, competitors, and platform updates to keep us ahead of the curve
•Track and report on performance metrics, adjusting strategies as needed
Requirements
•Strong understanding of major social media platforms and content best practices
•Experience working with WordPress is preferred
•Previous experience as a Social Media Manager or in a similar role is advantageous
•Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills
•Creative mindset with an eye for design and storytelling
•Ability to analyse data and translate insights into actionable improvements•Familiarity with scheduling tools (e.g., Buffer, Hootsuite, Later) and analytics
platforms
