We have a full-time vacancy for a PPE Sales Manager to support PPE Sales.

About The Department

The department is responsible for maintaining and increasing SATRA's global membership base along with driving sales of SATRA's many services.

About The Role

As PPE Sales Manager, you will be required to grow the customer base and overall revenue across the PPE & Chemistry divisions through driving new clients and regaining lapsed clients. You will be required to carry out the following:

  • Design and implement a commercial strategy for PPE, driving new business across PPE Testing, Certification and Chemistry.
  • Work closely with the core departments within the PPE divisions.
  • Increase sales of all SATRA PPE services, including PPE testing & certification and Chemistry testing.
  • Undertake regular visits and develop a contact plan for key customers.
  • Develop strategic new targets across all PPE service areas.
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans for key PPE customers, identifying growth opportunities, stakeholder relationships, competitive threats and long-term partnership opportunities.
  • Develop and maximise cross-divisional opportunities within PPE customer accounts, working with other SATRA business areas to increase customer value and revenue growth.
  • Monitor market developments, regulatory changes, industry trends and competitor activity within the PPE sector, sharing insight to support commercial and operational decision making.
  • Organise events targeted at Members and potential customers.
  • Support planning and arrange meetings for exhibitions.
  • Maintain accurate opportunity, account and forecasting information within company CRM systems.
  • Conduct customer visits and maintain clear records of opportunities, actions and account developments through agreed reporting processes.

About You

Essential

  • Demonstrable experience of designing and implementing a commercial strategy.
  • Demonstrable experience of selling testing and certification into the PPE market.
  • A comprehensive understanding and empathy with different and varied industries and a good understanding of the PPE compliance process, including testing & certification requirements.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in setting strategy, tactics and measurable targets/KPIs to check on progress.
  • Experienced results driven sales & marketing background.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills - must be self-motivated.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills and able to build relationships with both customers and colleagues.
  • Must be confident meeting face to face with all levels of management.
  • English language skills.
  • Experienced and comfortable with international travel, occasionally over weekends.
  • Competent with Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams / Zoom, PowerPoint and delivering presentations / webinars.
  • Hold a full driving licence.

Desirable

  • Experience of working in a testing-based environment would be an advantage.
  • Experience of organising and delivering events.
  • Experience of overseas travel.
  • Experience of using social media platforms.
