Reporting to the Head of HSEQ, the Compliance Officer will play a key role in ensuring SPIE Wind connect Group have compliant working practices. The Compliance Officer is responsible for supporting the coordination of compliance initiatives and improvements, ensuring all employees adhere to policies and processes to maintain a high standard of project execution. This role is a functional support to all departments, working as a key member of the HSEQ team, driving compliance business‐wide with operations, personnel, and all departments.

Your mission includes:

  • Ensuring compliance across SPIE Wind connect Group, coordinating compliance initiatives, promoting a QHSE culture, and supporting internal and external audits.
  • Conducting internal ISO audits in coordination with the quality engineer.
  • Managing the legal and compliance register, ensuring new legislation is added and communicated.
  • Monitoring compliance against company doctrine, policies & procedures and promoting continuous improvement.
  • Leading cross‐functional / departmental audits with HODs and unit managers.
  • Supporting a positive QHSE culture and assisting on necessary audits.
  • Ensuring procedural documents align with corporate requirements and driving a compliance culture.
  • Focusing on continuous improvement.
  • Supporting the QHSE function to execute robust internal and external audits.
  • Maintaining the compliance portal, training employees, and managing submissions.
  • Facilitating cross‐functional teams to implement process improvements.
  • Reviewing and developing procedures to ensure work practices comply with legislation, regulation, and best practices.
  • Reducing burden on operational personnel/departments.
  • Producing and presenting compliance metrics for review meetings.
  • Conducting supplier & subcontractor audits – site visits with quality engineer.
  • Managing new IMS roll‐out, ensuring compliance with usage.
  • Enhancing success of new initiatives/systems/processes.
  • Developing strong relations with HSEQ, Legal, GDPR, HR, Procurement, sustainability, and executive board.

Candidate criteria:

  • Minimum experience: 3 years or more.
  • Experience with external and internal auditing processes.
  • Strong time management and organisational skills.
  • Competent in Microsoft Office, predominantly MS Word, MS Excel and Outlook.
  • Analytical and keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer‐facing skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Right to Work in the UK.
