About this Role
ShiplakeCollege is seeking an experienced and pragmatic technology leader to providestrategic oversight of the College's technology operations, cybersecurity,digital governance and transformation projects during a period of maternitycover of up to one year, with an immediate start.
During thematernity cover period, the successful candidate will ensure that the College'sdigital services remain secure, reliable and well supported, with strongoversight of cybersecurity, digital safeguarding, data protection and businesscontinuity. They will maintain momentum on key infrastructure, cloud andtransformation projects, ensure regulatory and governance requirements are met,and hold suppliers accountable for delivering high-quality services. They willprovide clear leadership to the IT team, deliver concise and effectivereporting to senior leaders and governors, and work closely with the AcademicDirector of Digital Strategy to ensure a coordinated and seamless approach todigital leadership across the College as well as both strategic direction andoperational assurance across the organisation.
ShiplakeCollege is an independent boarding and day school for around 620 pupils aged 11to 18. There has been a co-educational Sixth Form since 1998 and sinceSeptember 2023 girls have been welcomed into Year 7 as the College became fullyco-educational.
