About us
Satispay began by rethinking the simple act of a payment to remove the friction from our daily routines. But we didn't stop there. Today, we are building a complete financial platform designed to empower people and concretely improve their lives. By giving our 6 million users a clear, open path to pay, save, and invest, we are evolving into the definitive destination for every financial need.
What you'll be doing
As our Legal Product Counsel, you’ll be the dedicated legal partner to our Product, Tech, and Design teams, embedding legal strategy directly into the product development lifecycle - from initial ideation to international launch. Here's what your day-to-day will look like:
- End-to-End Product Counseling - Act as the primary legal architect for new products and features. You will also be embedded in the Product Team and proactively support the design phase to help Product Managers build innovative and exciting new services and features that delight our customers.
- Regulatory Navigation - Analyze complex financial and consumer protection regulations across European jurisdictions, translating legal requirements into product and design guidance.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration - Partner closely with Product, Tech, Strategy, Marketing, Operations, and Compliance teams to balance business objectives with smart risk management.
- Consumer Law - Provide advice on financial, consumer protection laws and legal issues related to the B2C and B2B expansion of the Satispay ecosystem.
Who we're looking for
We need a problem-solver who loves teamwork and gets things done. If you're curious and ready for real ownership, you'll fit in! Does this sound like you?
- Background & Experience - At least 5 years of experience as Product Counsel advising on technology products, commercial, and consumer law issues. Significant in-house experience within a fast-growing Tech or Fintech company is highly preferred.
- Fintech & Product DNA - Deep familiarity with the fintech ecosystem (e.g., APIs, payment schemes, card networks, wallet architectures, open banking) and the regulatory complexities of scaling digital financial products across Europe.
- Product Curiosity - A genuine passion for UX/UI, technology, and understanding how a product works under the hood. You enjoy bridging the gap between engineering logic and legal frameworks.
- Strategic Risk-Taking - Ability to make decisions in ambiguous, fast-paced environments. You provide risk-adjusted recommendations, not just a list of legal restrictions.
- Communication & Influence - Exceptional communication skills with the ability to distill dense legal concepts into clear, actionable advice for product managers, engineers, and executives.
- Language Proficiency - Full professional fluency in English. Experience working in international environments or advising on cross-border European rollouts is a major asset.
